Answer: NO for T5 certification. YES as SC-CORE-owned module / W16 proposal. T1-B Core parity includes VIEW only.

Product 01-product-contract.md W16 lists canonical news publication as Core V1 proposal (§7: not a freeze). T1-B did not put manage/publish in the Core parity denominator.
Disposition: PRODUCT_DECISION_REQUIRED for W16 authoring/approval/calendar-linkage. READ_PROJECTION_COVERED for /news. DEPLOYMENT_PREREQUISITE -u scola_news.

T5-CALENDAR-DECISION¶
Does Core Calendar own independent business state? Independent calendar.event CRUD exists for admin family (/api/v1/calendar/admin/events/save, FE /calendar/newevent gated by authStore.isAdmin). Teacher save denied. The /calendar page is a unified feed (academic + teaching/W01 + communication + optional LMS/ekskul).
Product: communication is canonical news/calendar/notification shell. T1-B core.calendar is VIEW.
Disposition: feed = READ_PROJECTION_COVERED. Admin event CRUD = PRODUCT_DECISION_REQUIRED (do not manufacture a calendar-event workflow). Phase 16 skipped.
T5-NOTIFICATION-DECISION¶
Notifications are generated/read UI (/notifications, unread counts). W18 messaging/notification Requires Product Decision. Config /settings/notification-channels is not a Core business workflow.
Disposition: READ_PROJECTION / system projection + PRODUCT_DECISION_REQUIRED for manual send. Phase 17 skipped.

/settings/company mutates res.company via /api/v1/settings/company/update.
